I am not. - January 18, 2005, Huntington Beach, CA  This journal is a consolidation of four other blogs I have had at various times. Rather than fragment myself into disparate interests, I have opted to merge those interests into a unified whole. This will provide a better look at my total personality, and as a result, many entries are friends only. Friends must be at least 18 years old. I may write on adult themes and I'm too lazy to filter. I will put non-mainstream topics behind a cut, labeled so that friends can decide whether they wish to read them. (This way my Buddhist friends don't have my BDSM entries "in their face," etc.) I write about the world as I see it. Others may have been at the same event and seen it in a different way. (This is why eyewitness testimony is unreliable!) It is also why people shouldn't take anything they read here as "Truth," but merely as my understanding of my personal experience, valid only to me and only at the moment I write about it. I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain. My Half-Marathon Training / General Fitness Schedule: Monday: Cross Training, Strength Training, Stretching Tuesday: Speed Work - Interval Training (400 meter repeats) or Tempo Run or Hill Repeats Wednesday: Rest! (or Yoga, but at least one total rest day per week) Thursday: Cross Training, Strength Training, Stretching Friday: Long Run Saturday: Rest! (or Yoga, but at least one total rest day per week) Sunday: Short Run (3 miles)   My Marriage My relationship with my husband can best be represented by some quotes from the film versions of the Addams Family: Morticia (to Gomez): Last night you were... unhinged.
